Each regional hub has adopted projects in their regions which allow them to give, volunteer, engage, and serve their communities.About The PositionThe Employee Benefits Account Manager is expected to maintain an established book of business based on department needs, will demonstrate the ability to handle a book of business, work directly with clients to answer questions and to obtain information for the purpose of providing a quote, endorsement, or renewal. Process client requests for service; gather necessary information for submission; verify and maintain account files.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential duties contained in this job description reflect general details as necessary to describe the principal functions of this job, the level of knowledge and skill typically required and the scope of responsibility. Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences, equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.Manage client accounts including processing service requests, policy changes, cancellations, and other functions, handling book of business of $400,000+Review of insurance applications and policies to ensure initial compliance and underwriting authority and guidelinesProviding insurance information and support to Sales Executives in a variety of written formsScreening and processing insurance applicationsPrepare and compile a variety of insurance-related documents within established proceduresMarket existing and new accountsMaintain all recordsMaintain positive carrier relationshipsAssist in meeting office sales goalsSome travel may be required (up to 20%)Any other duties as appropriate and assigned by managementLicensing And Certification RequirementsCurrent Life/Health license is requiredMinimum of 2 years' experience preferredAt HUB, we believe in giving our employees the room and space they need to do their job.
