Business Analyst

Overview The Business Analyst is responsible to the Site Manager, for all on-site contractual, financial and personnel financial matters. Performs financial planning, analysis and reporting to ensure adequate contract funding and company financial goals are met. These include, but are not limited to - Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting to ensure adequate contract funding and achievement of company financial goals. Prepare and submit proposals and funding requests for Over & Above and Premium work; serve as primary financial POC with government representatives (funding, invoices, incentives). Monitor, analyze, and control all site financials: project/track costs to budget, code invoices, manage charge numbers, review contract correspondence for cost impact, and authorize payments. Execute timely and accurate billing: run labor reports in SAP, verify labor in NALCOMIS, initiate labor corrections, prepare billing backup, and track billable man-hours (WAR Report). Support headquarters with Contract Funds Status Reports and government notifications of funding shortfalls/excesses as required. Manage local cash-related activities: petty cash and travelers checks (including monthly replenishment), and approve various reimbursements, travel claims, and indirect supply purchases. Coordinate and approve site support services (e.g., telephone/intranet), maintain effective relationships with site leadership and counterparts, and keep the Site Manager informed on financial and personnel impacts. Enforce company and government regulations on safety, security, and asset preservation while maintaining high ethical standards and professional conduct with all stakeholders. Qualifications Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field, two (2) years\' experience in government contracting. Preferred Working knowledge of Company organization and policies. SAP knowledge (or other ERP) system experience. Working knowledge of Collective Bargaining and the National Labor Relations Act. Working knowledge of the Service Contract Act. Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2 years professional experience OR education/experience equivalent. Maintaining accurate program records and files. Leveraging templates for efficient project tracking and reporting. Performing programmatic analysis, research, and data gathering as needed to meet ad hoc requests. Compiling and preparing findings and reports as needed. Helping to establish or monitor milestones, progress, issues and problems, and remedial plans and actions in coordination with the program leadership team as appropriate US Citizenship and ability to maintain a Tier 1 Public Trust What We Bring At V2X we strive to be market competitive in our total reward offerings.
