Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer – Bowhead Bowhead is seeking a Full Stack Developer for our upcoming proposal effort in Dahlgren, VA. The role will support the entire hardware/software lifecycle, including planning and deployment. Responsibilities Manage customer issues through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of investigative tools to increase productivity for Azure/AWS cloud environments. Act as a consultant and subject‑matter expert for internal stakeholders in Engineering, IT, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles. Develop and maintain high‑quality software code and automated tests (unit, functional, performance, acceptance) for a web interface application that integrates data, analytics, and reporting components. Use GitLab for project management (version control, CI/CD, etc.). Troubleshoot and ensure changes in code are correct and bug‑free. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Work in a customer‑facing role. Work with JavaScript, Typescript, Vue.js, Python Flask, Java Spring, Docker, and Kubernetes. Qualifications High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 3–5 years of relevant experience. Experience with GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaaS solutions including system virtualization, hybrid cloud, security, monitoring, and logging. Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, VLANs, peering, load balancing). Experience with web technologies: Vue.js, Python Flask, Java Spring, and HTML. Physical Demands Must be able to lift 5–15 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods. Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically. Security Clearance Requirements Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance. US citizenship is a requirement for this contract.
