Title
NICU RN - Neonatal Intensive Care

Requirements
- Must hold a valid CA nursing license.
- Certifications required: BCLS, NRP, PALS (NRP Advanced preferred if obtained before start).
- Minimum of 2 years total nursing experience, with at least 1 year in Level III NICU.
- Experience managing a patient ratio of up to 1:3.
- Familiarity with charting in Epic.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates and infants in a Level III NICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct specialized procedures including intubations, central line/PICC management, and spinal taps.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate families about patient care and health management.

Compliance / Notes
- Must submit all RTO requests upfront; approval subject to facility needs.
- Expected to work 3 of the 5 major holidays.
- Orientation consists of 36 hours before starting the assignment.
- Free parking available for staff.
