\n \nPosition/Role:
\nWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, development, and optimization of Create Energy products and systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure successful project execution from initial concept to manufacturing (designs).
\n \nKey Responsibilities:
\nDevelop detailed solar PV system layouts using CAD and solar design software (e.g., Helioscope, Aurora Solar, AutoCAD).
\nPerform comprehensive material takeoffs for commercial, and utility-scale projects.
\nInterpret site plans, architectural drawings, and electrical schematics to create optimized solar designs.
\nCollaborate with sales, project management, engineering and product teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and code compliance.
\nConduct shading analysis, energy production estimates, and system sizing.
\nMaintain design documentation and update project files throughout the lifecycle.
\nAssist in permitting and interconnection documentation preparation.
\nStay current with industry standards, building codes, and PV, EV, and BESS technologies.
