Full‑Time Schedule includes Holidays and Weekends Full‑time role requiring weekend, holiday, and evening work. Job Summary The Park Manager is responsible for the daily operation of Hugo Lake Park, Cabins, Marina, and Ship Store, as well as overall grounds maintenance. The position also handles moderately complex maintenance and repair duties, performing grounds, facility, and equipment upkeep as required. Additional responsibilities may include general maintenance and repair, custodial duties, customer service, and enforcement of park rules and regulations. The role requires working outdoors and, at times, in inclement weather. This is a Safety Sensitive Position. Duties and Responsibilities Provide a visually pleasing park area with courteous and professional customer service. Interact with customers, handling complaints about facilities or park operations in a professional manner. Represent the LIFT Community Action Agency team in a positive and professional manner at all times. Protect the physical and cash assets of the park. Maintain compliance with all park rules in a friendly and informative manner. Perform all opening and closing procedures. Make reservations for cabin rentals, hospitality house, tent camping, etc., including obtaining credit and billing information, deposits, and maintaining reservation accuracy. Be willing to work irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Prepare daily rental and cash reports. Supervise park employees as necessary and ensure they can perform multiple tasks across the park. Drive park vehicles to transport materials, trash, and equipment. Work in environments involving pollen, dust, insecticides, cleaning materials, equipment operations, noise, rugged terrain, and other hazardous materials using appropriate safety procedures and equipment. Adjust duties as management may assign or reassign essential functions as needed. Supervisory Relationship The Park Manager reports to the Associate Director and is responsible for supervising all Hugo Lake Park employees. Qualifications Knowledge of general retail operations desired. Skill in using mechanical tools and equipment. Basic knowledge of computer operations and Microsoft Office functions. Ability to interact with the public and resolve problems and complaints. Knowledge of boats and other aquatic equipment desired. Ability to perform manual labor including lifting or moving 25–50 pounds and climbing ladders. Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques. Mental and Physical Demands / Environmental Factors Must be able to sit or stand in a stationary position 50% of the time; stoop, bend, walk, talk, hear, grip, type, and reach with hands and arms. Needs to stand or walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders as required. Must move around the office to access file cabinets and office machinery. Must operate a computer, calculator, copy machine, and printer. Requires effective communication with staff and patrons requesting program information. Occasional need to move/carry items up to 50 pounds. Must ascend/descend steps in and out of vehicles. Must visually detect highway signs and interact with traffic while operating a vehicle.
