Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Progressive Care

• Provide specialized nursing care for post-cardiovascular surgery patients
• Manage telemetry and stepdown units effectively
• Administer and monitor cardiac medications and epidurals
• Perform chest tube management and tube feedings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Progressive Care

• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Stepdown experience
• Telemetry experience
• Prior CV surgery and vascular surgery population experience (preferred)
