Outpatient Physical Therapist

Location: Cheyenne Mountain, CO and Woodland Park, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a month-long contract position starting November 30th.

Schedule: 5x8.0 shifts

Job Description: The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. The therapist is responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients and ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that allow for effective returns to community activities. This role also includes educating patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.

Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on patient progression.
• Document medical records clearly, concisely, and accurately in compliance with clinic policies and guidelines.
• Participate in student program supervision, providing a positive learning environment and completing evaluations.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Demonstrate awareness of organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school (required)
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• 6-month duration desired experience in outpatient settings (highly desired)
