Automotive Mechanic – Huge Growth Path (Brooklyn, NY)
About the Role Are you a mechanic who has made the investment in your own tools and is looking for a shop that will finally invest in you ? We are looking for a reliable, motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Brooklyn. We don't care if you have 10 years of experience or 2—what we care about is your work ethic, your willingness to learn the trade from the best, and your commitment to the craft.
This isn't just a job; it’s a career path. We are looking for the right person to grow with us, move past the probationary period, and become a cornerstone of our shop.
The Opportunity
- Starting Pay: $20/hr during a 60-day probationary period.
- Growth: Pay is negotiable immediately following your 60-day review based on performance and skill acquisition.
- Stability: We offer a 401k to help you plan for the future.
- Training: We provide hands-on environment where you can sharpen your skills and earn a higher income as you become more efficient.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Gear: You must have your own set of tools.
- The Drive: A strong willingness to learn and a "no-task-is-too-small" attitude.
- The Basics: Ability to perform general repairs and maintenance.
- The Credentials (Pluses): A New York State Inspector’s License or any ASE/Car Repair certifications are a huge advantage, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Reliability: You show up on time, every time, ready to work.
