Job Summary

We are seeking motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Junior Collections Specialists to join a growing Internal Recovery Department in Doral, Miami.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in call centers, customer service, collections, or phone-based sales who are looking to develop their careers in a fast-paced financial services environment.

The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with excellent telephone etiquette, strong negotiation abilities, and the capacity to multitask while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.

Candidates with previous call center experience are strongly encouraged to apply, even if they do not have direct collections experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and handle inbound communications regarding outstanding accounts and payment arrangements.
• Communicate professionally with customers to discuss account balances, payment obligations, and available resolution options.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and work toward successful account recovery.
• Maintain a customer-service-oriented approach while handling sensitive financial conversations.
• Document customer interactions, payment commitments, and account updates accurately in internal systems.
• Manage multiple accounts and prioritize daily collection activities to meet departmental goals.
• Follow up with customers regarding payment commitments and outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve collection performance and recovery results.
• Meet or exceed individual and team productivity, quality, and recovery targets.
• Ensure compliance with applicable collection regulations, company policies, and professional standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in a call center, customer service, collections, or telephone-based sales environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound and outbound telephone calls.
• Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate records.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
• Professional, dependable, and results-oriented attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous during challenging customer interactions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in:

• Call Centers: High-volume inbound or outbound calling environments.
• Customer Service: Telecommunications, banking, insurance, retail financial services, or customer support.
• Collections & Recovery: Consumer collections, account recovery, payment processing, or billing support.
• Inside Sales: Phone-based sales professionals with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Financial Services: Customer-facing experience involving payments, account management, or financial products.

Direct collections experience is a plus but is not required for candidates who demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
