If you're ready to take your career to the next level and gain valuable experience, apply today!The Senior Project Manager, EPMO establishes and maintains direction and guidelines for managing strategic projects and initiatives; this includes resource allocation, project duration, schedule and the project budget. Collaborates with the project workgroup, managers, customers and vendors in identifying key business issues and developing solutions. Responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to cross functional teams committed to achieving large scale projects. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected and may be managing contractors or multiple vendor relationships.ResponsibilitiesManages large size complex projects or multiple projects of moderate complexityManages all phases of the project and consults for other projects on best practices or advocates on behalf of the projects under their scope of responsibilityResponsible for creating, coordinating, and developing project charters, business cases, technical and architecture specifications, and project plans for identified projectsEffectively manages all project constraints; budgets, resources, schedules, and quality, in order to fulfill deliverables and implement effective business solutionsResponsible for completeness of all project documentation throughout the project lifecycle and for obtaining appropriate approvals at each phase of the projectAdheres to the PDS Project Management and IT Governance ProcessesManages project progress by establishing and conducting regularly scheduled meetings with the project workgroupUpdates key stakeholders and senior management on progress and constraints, as well as advises if project course correction is neededMonitor and direct resolution to ensure solution design meets standard architecture considerations and approvals – standard database structures, code standards, common components and reusable programs, security and performance levels system interfaces and dependenciesIdentify areas of potential concern in sufficient time to mitigate risk. Assist the project workgroup in managing those risks throughout the project by communicating, tracking, and mitigating issuesLeverage analytical skills to distill large volumes of data into clear, concise action plans aimed at improving the delivery of projects/initiativesProficiency in performing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative analyses, such as root cause, impact, risk, gap, and cost/benefitPerform systems analysis, as neededBuilds strong partnerships with internal customers in order to increase value and delivery or return on investment (ROI)Assesses performance and provides feedback of assigned project personnel as requiredManages the vendor selection processCreate content and material for presentation to all levels of team members, stakeholders as well as Chief ExecutivesTrains and mentors EPMO team members as well as others that support project deliveryOther duties as assigned by managementQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and 10+ relevant experience7+ years of full lifecycle project management experiencePMP Certification or demonstrated experience requiredPreferredDental, managed healthcare, or retail industry experienceKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesOrganized, detail-oriented individual able to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multi-task effectively without compromising the quality of the workExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsAbility to create presentations and use outstanding presentation skillsAbility to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and other members of the business communityAbility to draw valid conclusions; apply sound judgment in making decisions and make decisions under pressureAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inferenceAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situationsHigh skill level in customer serviceAbility to develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with management and all levels of staffMaintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with Company policiesEnsure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal and other regulatory bodiesBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offTuition Reimbursement401KPaid time to volunteer in your local communityCompensation Information $130,000.00-$168,000.00 / AnnuallyPDS Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
