Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Pay: Starting at $28/hr
Duration: Approximately 90 Days

We are hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician for a 90-day project supporting a large manufacturing operation.


This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role working with manufacturing machinery, electrical controls, motors, VFDs, PLC components, and plant electrical systems.


What You'll Do
* Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
* Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive electrical maintenance
* Troubleshoot 24VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC, and 480VAC electrical systems
* Diagnose and replace electrical components including:
* Motors
* VFDs
* Breakers and fuses
* Solid-state relays
* Power supplies
* Troubleshoot PLC and instrumentation components including:
- I/O cards
- Thermocouples
- Encoders
- Light curtains
- Safety scanners
* Use electrical testing equipment including multimeters, amp meters, meggers, circuit tracers, and thermal cameras
* Assist with equipment rebuilds, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations
* Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime
* Follow NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and plant electrical safety requirements

What We're Looking For
* Previous industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
* Strong troubleshooting skills with 480V industrial equipment
* Experience troubleshooting motors and VFDs
* Basic understanding of PLC Ladder Logic
* Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and/or Omron PLCs
* Ability to safely diagnose electrical and control-system problems
* Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and OSHA electrical safety requirements
* Ability to work independently and assist the maintenance team as needed

Candidates should be comfortable stepping into an active manufacturing environment and troubleshooting industrial equipment with minimal supervision.


Starting Pay: $25-28/hr
