SAP Project Manager

Role Overview The SAP Project Manager leads large project initiatives or manages multiple engagements for a single Vistex customer. The primary responsibility is to build client relationships and successfully deliver assigned projects, providing thought leadership across all technical and business process aspects. Responsibilities Manage multiple clients/projects concurrently. Assist in pre‑sales activities and expand Vistex consulting services. Scope and estimate project work. Identify and close new service opportunities for assigned clients. Identify appropriate consulting skills required for projects. Lead implementation projects. Manage the SOW/Contract requirements and related change requests. Adhere to documented PMO processes and procedures. Define deliverables, templates and standards for the project. Develop and manage a detailed integrated project plan including milestones and deliverables. Track and report project performance metrics to the client. Manage project issues, risks, scope, budgets and client expectations. Act as the first point of escalation for project‑related issues. Build “trusted advisor” relationships with key client and implementation partner stakeholders. Leverage opportunities for add‑on sales. Monitor budget against actual expenditures, headcount and deliverable completion. Maintain project financials. Develop in‑depth knowledge of project implementation methodologies and best practices. Mentor junior project managers and delivery managers as needed. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s or higher in Information Technology or related field. Experience: 8+ years of Order to Cash and/or Finance experience. Experience in multiple SAP full‑lifecycle software implementations. Independent thinking with strong problem‑solving skills. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn new software quickly. Preferred Qualifications: Fluent German speaker is beneficial. Experience working with Big 4 or other large consulting firms is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
