We are proud recipients of the Top Workplace award, 2023 Non-Profit of the Year and 2023 Executive Director of the Year honors from the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce, and recognition as a Top Tier organization, and a Recovery Friendly Workplace.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight, operationalize services, and ensure the quality of treatment delivered by our clinical and recovery staff.
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits
- Multiple Medical Plans to fit your needs and budget
- Dental & Vision Insurance
- 403(b) Retirement Plan with 10% employer match at 1 year
- Vacation and Sick accruals
- 11 paid Holidays
- 40 hours of paid Education/Training annually
- Paid Licensure Reimbursement
- Meaningful leadership work making a lasting difference in the lives of individuals in recovery
What You'll Do:
As a Clinical Coordinator, you will provide hands-on clinical supervision and leadership, ensuring that treatment services are delivered with excellence, compassion, and full regulatory compliance. You will be both a clinical resource and a people-centered leader — guiding staff, supporting clients, and upholding SCADD's commitment to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care.
Responsibilities include:
- Directly supervise clinicians and/or recovery staff conducting therapeutic program activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Orient and train new staff to program and clinical expectations, clinical approaches, and new initiatives
- Assist in orienting new staff to the electronic health record
- Review and approve all clinical documentation in a timely manner, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other client-related documents
- Assist in facilitating weekly multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support identification of client needs that cannot be met at the current level of care and collaborate on referrals to available support systems and community resources
- Ensure safety guidelines are followed, as well as compliance with state and local health, safety, and fire codes
- Perform direct care as needed to meet contractual obligations and budgetary performance expectations
- Participate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge essential to the performance of duties
What You'll Need:
- Master's degree in the human services field required
- Independent licensure required: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
- 1+ year of supervisory experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical/counseling experience desired
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented practice, and SCADD's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Why SCADD?
Since 1966, SCADD has remained at the forefront of substance use disorder treatment, continuously evolving to meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities across Southeastern Connecticut. We believe in second chances and the power of recovery — and we know that strong, compassionate clinical leadership is what makes that possible. When you join SCADD, you join a team that shows up every day with hope, connection, and purpose.
If you're ready to lead a team that makes a real difference in people's lives, we want to hear from you.
