Georgia Licensed Coding Specialist

To ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, the full-time Senior Practice Coding Specialist will be responsible for coding procedures, entering charges, and coordinating with the Practice Coordinator and Revenue Integrity while working remotely from Georgia. Key responsibilities Code procedures and enter charges in accordance with regulations and internal policies Coordinate with the Practice Coordinator and Revenue Integrity to ensure proper documentation for selected procedure codes Participate in audits to evaluate coding accuracy and develop methodologies to address identified coding issues Required qualifications Must have a coding credential (RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS, RN) Minimum of 3 years of specialty and/or surgical coding experience Familiarity with data processing applications in a Windows environment, particularly in healthcare accounts receivable Knowledge of medical terminology, billing procedures, and medical insurance
