Automotive Sales Consultant

Red Rock Auto in Watford City, ND is hiring an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. We are seeking a motivated and professional individual who enjoys working with customers, building relationships, and helping people find the right vehicle for their needs.

Previous automotive sales experience is preferred, but not required. We provide training for individuals with strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and a desire to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.

Pay & Compensation

• $70,000 - $140,000 per year
• 3-month training pay structure
• Commission and bonus opportunities

Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• No nights
• Rotating weekends schedule

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build professional rapport
• Assist customers in identifying vehicle needs and selecting the appropriate vehicle
• Maintain knowledge of new and used inventory, features, and benefits
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives
• Prepare pricing and assist with purchase discussions
• Explain finance and protection product options with management support
• Complete the sales process from initial contact through delivery under management direction
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers via phone, text, and email
• Maintain CRM activity and accurate customer records
• Work with team members and management to provide a high-quality customer experience

Qualifications

• Previous automotive sales experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable using computers, CRM tools, and internet-based systems
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
• Ability to follow processes and take direction
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
