Athletic Trainer - Full Time
Join our dynamic sports medicine team as an Athletic Trainer (AT) and provide essential on-site athletic training coverage at schools and community events. Under the guidance of a physician, you will be responsible for a broad range of services, including injury prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, rehabilitation, and more.
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Current Athletic Training License in Ohio.
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
- National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) Board of Certification.
Educational Requirements:
- Minimum Level: Bachelor's degree
- Degree Type: Bachelor of Science or equivalent
- Major/Area of Study: Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Site Coverage: Provide athletic training services at assigned schools and community events as directed.
- Patient Care: Offer services including injury prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation following Premier Health standards.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in sports medicine through continuous education.
- Public Speaking: Represent the organization by speaking at events to raise awareness and educate others about sports medicine.
