Join Our Dynamic CVICU Float Pool as a Travel RN Job Description: - Location: Asheville, NC - Unit Name: CICU - Building: J Building - Cost Center: 653 - Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Why You'll Love This Opportunity: - Work in a vibrant team of RNs in a 16-bed CVICU - Experience a patient ratio of 2:1 or 1:1 (occasionally 3:1 depending on acuity) - Engage with advanced medical equipment including Ventilators, Telemetry, Baxter IV Pumps, IABP, CRRT, Impella, and Hypothermia systems - Utilize Cerner for efficient documentation Position Highlights: - Scheduling: - 36 hours per week - Alternating weekends - 12-hour shifts - Floating Policy: - Travelers may float to all areas - Essential Skills Required: - Titration of Vesicant Medications - Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics - Experience with Ventilators, Trachs, and Telemetry Interpretation - Understanding Hemodynamics and PA Catheter Setup/Interpretation - Advanced Skills Highly Desirable: - IABP, Impella, CRRT - Procedures Performed On Unit: - Cardioversion, Central line insertion, EGD, Bronchoscopy - Chest Tube insertions, Pericardiocentesis, Thoracentesis - Certifications: - None required; CCRN recommended Dress Code: - Uniform: All Navy or Navy and White - No pullovers, hoodies, or green scrubs unless uniform is soiled at work Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
