Medium Equipment OperatorPrimoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Medium Equipment Operator to join our team in Donaldsonville, LA. This role involves safely and efficiently operating various types of medium-sized construction equipment for site preparation, excavation, and material handling on construction projects.Job Responsibilities:Operate medium-sized heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, motor graders, and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.Perform daily pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues or defects.Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures on the job site.Load and unload materials, grade surfaces, dig trenches, clear land, and perform other tasks as directed.Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other personnel on the job site.Assist with general labor duties on the ground when equipment operation is not required.Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.Follow project plans and specifications.Job Qualifications:Minimum of 2-5 years of experience operating various medium-sized heavy equipment.Proven ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures.Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and other construction documents is a plus.Possess a valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects when necessary.Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services.
