Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in a school-based setting near Bowie, MD! We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a difference in the academic and social growth of children and adolescents.

You’ll enjoy a collaborative environment as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing essential speech and language services while empowering students to reach their full potential. While the district is working towards direct hires, contracting is expected to be approved soon, and interviews with the district are being conducted to identify the right candidate.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Licensure as an SLP in Maryland, or eligibility to obtain before the start date
• Prior experience in school-based environments preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans for students in collaboration with educators and parents
• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports per district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
