Radiology - IR Tech

Interventional Radiology Technologist

The position requires a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Candidates who have not worked in the role previously will be accepted. The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. The average daily census for the unit is 8 patients. The role requires proficiency in BLS certification. The technologist will be responsible for performing various interventional radiology procedures. They must also adhere to departmental guidelines and protocols. Floating within the facility's scope of practice may be required as needed. Call requirements are 10 days per month. If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Compliance with onboarding requirements is mandatory to start on time. Failure to be compliant may result in a delay of two weeks due to orientation scheduling. The candidate will be clinically screened to determine fit for the position. If qualified, the candidate will be reviewed by management for final decision-making.
