Shift Manager Shift Manager at McDonald’s company‑owned and independent Owner‑Operator restaurants leads shifts every week, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service. The Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure high quality, service, and cleanliness standards. Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking action to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare for a great shift. They may also be responsible for meeting shift targets and helping assigned departments meet their goals.
