Buyer - Materials (St. Petersburg, Florida-up to 70K) Contract/Hire We're hiring a motivated Buyer to support purchasing, supplier follow-up, and material flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials to support production needs.
- Manage purchase orders, supplier communication, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain MRP data, review inventory needs, and resolve material issues.
- Work with engineering, suppliers, and internal teams to meet customer deadlines.
- 3-5 years of purchasing/buyer experience in manufacturing preferred.
- MRP experience and strong Excel skills required.
- Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
