As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with daily living activities while fostering a warm, engaging, and respectful environment.In this role, you will build meaningful relationships, support resident wellness, and help create a community where every individual feels valued and cared for.Location: 'Ilima at Leihano -Kapolei, HawaiiSchedule: Full-time, EveningPay Range: Starting from $16.25 per hourWhat You'll DoAssist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, and mobilityEncourage independence while providing compassionate, individualized supportMonitor resident well-being and promptly report any changes in conditionProvide companionship and build positive, trusting relationships with residentsSupport residents with assistive devices such as walkers, wheelchairs, and hearing aidsRespond to emergencies in accordance with established policies and proceduresDocument care and services accurately and in a timely mannerCollaborate with the care team to support individualized service plansPromote resident participation in wellness programs and social activitiesAssist with light housekeeping tasks, including maintaining resident rooms and common areasSupport resident laundry and daily living needs as assignedAssist with front desk responsibilities, including answering phones and greeting visitors as neededParticipate in community events and contribute to a positive resident experienceEnsure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standardsWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredCompletion of a Nursing Assistant course preferredPrevious caregiving or senior living experience is a plusCompassionate, patient, and service-oriented mindsetStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAttention to detail and ability to follow care plans and proceduresBasic computer skills and comfort with documentation systemsFlexibility to work weekends and holidays as neededRequirementsFirst Aid and CPR certification (as required)Must meet all state-required training and certification requirementsCNA certification preferred (where applicable)Our Standards of ExcellenceLive our Principles, Values, and Beliefs in every interactionBuild meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team membersDeliver care with professionalism, compassion, and respectWhy Join UsJoin a team dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents through compassionate care and meaningful connections.
