Paramedic

Job position: Paramedic Pay rate: $27.32 hourly Employment type: Full‑time Shift: 2300–0700, 5 days a week with rotating 2 days off Weekends required About Cambridge Security Services Cambridge Security Services is a leading provider of security solutions in Florida. Key Responsibilities Operate ambulance equipment and respond to radio transmissions. Lead and coordinate the team’s emergency response. Evaluate the patient’s condition at the scene and provide a preliminary diagnosis. Administer pre‑hospital treatments including first aid, CPR, injections, oxygen, and, when necessary, surgical procedures. Utilize medical equipment to stabilize patients and provide immediate treatment. Monitor patient condition during transport to the hospital. Collaborate with police, firefighting units, doctors, and other stakeholders. Write and submit thorough incident reports. Adhere to medical protocols, legal guidelines, and health and safety standards. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with treatments and procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a paramedic. Strong knowledge of medical procedures, terminology, and medications. Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions under pressure. Adaptability and physical stamina. Excellent working knowledge of medical equipment and devices. Integrity and compassion toward patients. Valid driver's license. Security license or willingness to obtain one. Certified CPR instructor. High school diploma and licensed paramedic certification.
