ComptaPlace is our accounting firm specializing in accounting and tax advisory services, dedicated to supporting companies in the optimal management of their finances. At the forefront of new technologies, ComptaPlace uses digital tools to simplify accounting processes, while ensuring an impeccable quality of service.

Location & Organization

• Based in Paris or fully remote (with regular travel)
• Travel: 2 days per month to Paris or Montpellier
• Integration phase: more frequent presence at the start

Your role

• Report to the Head of Process & Method
• Directly linked with Product, Dev, and CRM (Salesforce) teams
• Regular interactions with operational teams (CS, Production Comptable)
• A cross-functional role with a strong impact: you deliver concrete results

Your mission, you are the guarantor of data reliability and the automation of processes. Specifically, you:

• Audit and validate data to ensure usable dashboards and analyses
• Investigate recurring bugs and propose large-scale, permanent solutions
• Automate operational processes to free up employee time
• Create and maintain management dashboards to guide decisions
• Explore and integrate AI tools if relevant (agents, LLM, chatbots)

Your responsibilities

• Data reliability
• Audit data quality: exports, detect anomalies, investigate bugs
• Work cross-functionally with Dev, CRM (Salesforce), and Ops teams to report issues
• Propose systemic solutions: fix the problem on a large scale, not just for one client
• Build and maintain operational data repositories (quality, consistency, accessibility)

Dashboarding & management

• Create and maintain usable dashboards (Metabase, Salesforce, Looker)
• Define and track key performance indicators: productivity, processing times, rework rates, customer satisfaction
• Produce analyses to detect weak signals and recommend concrete actions

Automation & innovation

• Identify processes to automate with high ROI (n8n, Zapier, Make, RPA)
• Deploy end-to-end automations: triggers, workflows, API connectors
• Explore and integrate relevant AI tools (agents, LLM, chatbots)
• Measure adoption and real gains (time saved, errors avoided, satisfaction)

Persuasion & collaboration

• Convince Dev/Product teams to prioritize systemic fixes
• Work with operational teams to understand their pain points
• Be a driver for continuous improvement and scalability of processes

Profile Sought

Education

• Engineering school

Experience (3–5 years)

• Significant experience in data (audit, validation, dashboarding)
• Ideally a background in consulting (multiple clients, various sectors, multiple business issues)
• Experience in a demanding operational environment (scale-up, ops, transformation consulting)
• No need to be an accountant, but a genuine curiosity for accounting professions and the ability to quickly understand complex processes are indispensable

Key skills

• SQL (mandatory) : complex queries, joins, aggregations, query optimization, anomaly detection in data, ability to investigate and audit databases
• Dashboarding : Metabase, Looker, Tableau or equivalents
• Investigation & audit : ability to dig, detect bugs, report systemic issues
• Comfortable with automation tools: n8n, Make, Zapier (nice-to-have)
• Salesforce (nice-to-have, not blocking if not mastered)
• AI (agents, LLM, chatbots): welcome interest, not a prerequisite

Soft skills

• Problem solver : analytical, structured mind, capable of tracing complex issues
• Persuasion : able to convince Dev/Product teams to prioritize the right issues
• Business curiosity : interest in accounting to understand operational processes
