If you want to work on hard problems with real‑world impact, join us. What you’ll do Design, optimize, and scale the high‑performance network fabric that interconnects our GPU and CPU compute. Build the low‑latency networking that keeps our training and simulation workloads fed and fast. Own capacity planning and lead network projects end to end, from design through deployment. Partner with vendors to select and engineer switches that set us up for the next stage of compute growth. Develop scripts and processes that automate network operations and increase efficiency. Collaborate across the infrastructure team to solve cross‑discipline problems with immediate operational impact. What we’re looking for Experience designing, deploying, and scaling networks for HPC or GPU compute environments. Hands‑on experience managing switches across platforms such as Arista (EOS), Cisco (NX‑OS), Nvidia (Cumulus), and/or SONiC. Solid capacity‑planning and project‑management skills, with judgment to scale as we grow. Packet decoding/analysis (tcpdump, Wireshark) and knowledge of fiber optics and high‑speed cabling up to 800 Gbps. Familiarity with public cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure) and config management (Ansible, Salt). Familiarity with Python, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and GitHub; awareness of data center power and cooling. Meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving, and excellent communication. Location and Compensation This role is based in our San Francisco office. Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change - we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. We do our best work together. That’s why all of our office‑based teams work onsite, five days a week. The base salary range for this role is $224,000 - $284,000 per year . Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You may also be eligible for equity awards and an annual performance‑based bonus.
