Location: US:PA:Reading Work Type: Full Time FTE: 1.0 Shift: Varied Hours: Monday - Sunday, 7P-7A; 7 on 7 off Recruiter Contact: Please contact Erica Moyer at for additional information.
Summary Of Position:
The Nurse Practitioner will diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe. Provides care of hospitalized patients and has full control of a patient throughout their entire shift. Current BLS and ACLS Required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to complete comprehensive physical exam, diagnose and formulate a medical management plan
- Ability to collaborate with attending physician
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hospitalist or acute care setting preferred
- 2 years experience preferred
