About the Role
The Company is seeking an AVP for Capital Management Forecasting in the Finance division. The successful candidate will be a key member of the centralized forecasting function, responsible for delivering consolidated forecasts across various financial bases to support strategic decision-making. This role involves executing the quarterly production of financial-based forecast outputs, supporting the development and maintenance of US GAAP-based projections, and conducting detailed attribution of forecasting model results. The AVP will also be involved in supporting the definition of business requirements, performing trend analysis, and ensuring the accuracy and auditability of all projection outputs. Additionally, the role includes contributing to automation and model architecture improvement initiatives and supporting the preparation of senior management and board-level reporting materials. Applicants for this role at the company should have an undergraduate degree, with a preference for fields such as finance, accounting, actuarial science, or other quantitative disciplines. A minimum of 7 years' experience in financial reporting, FP&A, or a related field within the insurance or reinsurance industry is required. Professional designations such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred, and progress in actuarial exams is also valued. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles, proficiency in financial modeling, and experience with financial systems and FP&A toolsets. Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate financial results effectively to internal stakeholders.
