Adapt minute by minute or be content, because they're content? Can you think of fun ideas or recognize that they need to relax as you get to know them and help them engage? A successful Qualicare KC Care Assistant will be an experienced person in life as a caregiver either professionally or personally to family and who is capable of working independently, while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor, with hopefully some room for laughs.
We are a Private In-HOME Care. We are not a facility. Responsibilities:
- Be caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers.
- Show up on TIME!
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene, including incontinence briefs etc.
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Assist/Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Ability to follow care-plan
- Documentation/Charting
Requirements:
- Experience in life with Caregiving or professionally
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must hold a valid Driver's License
- Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers
