A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in the Hillsboro, OR area. This contract role involves working variable days and afternoons to ensure smooth pharmacy workflow and excellent patient care.

Location:

• Hillsboro, Oregon

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons

Duration:

• 13 weeks with an ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications according to physicians' orders
• Review and verify prescriptions for appropriateness and potential interactions
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and storage
• Utilize pharmacy systems including Cerner and Pyxis to manage medication inventory and patient records
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and safety
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy protocols

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Oregon Pharmacist License required
• Experience with Cerner and Pyxis systems highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of medications and pharmacy procedures
• Excellent communication skills with patients and clinical staff
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule with variable shifts
