Join Via Care Community Health Center , a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible healthcare to diverse patient populations.

We are seeking a dedicated physician to join our team and deliver comprehensive, patient-centered primary care in a supportive outpatient setting.

Position Details

• Position: Family / General Practice Physician

• Location: Los Angeles, CA

• Organization: Via Care Community Health Center

• Practice Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

• Schedule: Full-Time | Outpatient Primary Care

• Annual Salary: $260,000–$290,000, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care, including preventive health, acute illness management, and chronic disease management.

• Conduct patient examinations, obtain medical histories, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.

• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers.

• Support high-risk patients through care management, patient education, and follow-up.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR).

• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff to improve patient outcomes.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, team meetings, and clinical supervision as needed.

• Deliver culturally sensitive and patient-centered care to diverse populations.

✅ Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

• Completion of an acceptable Family Medicine residency or qualifying board certification.

• Active California Medical License.

• Experience in an FQHC or a similar setting serving uninsured and underserved populations.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• English fluency required; additional language skills strongly preferred.

• Valid California driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.

• Required automobile insurance coverage.

• Successful criminal background check.

• Annual TB screening and required physical clearance.

• COVID-19 vaccination as required by the organization.
