Cloud AI Security Lead

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• We require 10+ years of hands-on cybersecurity or information security experience
• We prefer 12+ years of hands-on cybersecurity or information security experience
• We prefer 4+ years of experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLM)
• We require 4+ years of experience working in Microsoft Azure environments, including Azure Cloud Services, Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Purview Data Governance, Azure AI services, and data cataloging practices
• We require familiarity with AI testing frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Kerns
• We require a deep understanding of machine learning lifecycles and MLOps
• We require a strong grasp of Large Language Model security challenges and controls, including prompt injection, data poisoning, and model theft
• We require demonstrated proficiency in AI/ML fundamentals and technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision
• We require experience assessing AI systems for ethical considerations and potential bias to support ethical standards and inclusivity

• We define and implement operational processes for data cataloging, lineage, governance, and data protection so AI solutions remain secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational policy
• We develop policy-driven security controls to safeguard AI, ML, and cloud-based solutions from data loss and unauthorized access
• We partner with Data Scientists, GenAI Engineers, Developers, MLOps, and Data Governance teams to identify vulnerabilities, apply security best practices, and support compliance with standards such as NIST, SOC 2, and applicable regulations
• We lead security assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability management, threat modeling, and risk mitigation efforts for AI platforms and applications
• We serve as the AI security subject matter expert across the design, development, deployment, and operation of AI/ML solutions, with emphasis on protecting sensitive and personally identifiable information (PII)
• We establish, document, and deliver AI security standards, procedures, training, and awareness programs across the organization
• We develop and run security testing strategies for GenAI and AI systems, including validation of confidentiality, integrity, availability, prompt injection resistance, and model security controls
• We collaborate with QA and engineering teams to define test objectives, build automated security tests, document outcomes, and remediate identified defects or vulnerabilities
• We design and implement security controls, detections, guardrails, and monitoring capabilities that strengthen the security, reliability, and resilience of AI solutions
• We evaluate and secure AI/ML tools, platforms, libraries, and services while maintaining alignment with enterprise security standards
• We support Enterprise Risk Management by assessing AI systems for ethical risk, bias, fairness, transparency, and responsible AI practices
