Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a comprehensive rehabilitation program focused on neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation, amputations, orthopedics, wound care, and respiratory therapy. This is an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for adults recovering from various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic strategies and home programs.
• Participate in team conferences to report on patient progress and coordinate care.

Schedule

This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a requirement for one weekend shift per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Active Occupational Therapist licensure required.
• Experience working with adult populations in settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRF), or Acute Care preferred.
