The State of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood seeks a Quality Improvement Director to lead the Quality Improvement Division, overseeing staff and quality improvement activities for child care providers across the state. The role involves strategic planning, fiscal management, budget oversight, and collaboration with external partners to advance early childhood services. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Hartford reporting to agency leadership. Key Qualifications Nine years of professional experience in social services program delivery and/or policy One year of managerial or consultative experience with programmatic and administrative responsibility for a regional or statewide program Experience leading program quality improvement initiatives across early childhood systems Experience supervising staff and managing budgets for complex programs with multiple funding streams Experience interpreting standards, processes, and technical assistance documents Experience developing scopes of work, defining performance metrics, and monitoring contractor deliverables #J-18808-Ljbffr DGS Office of External Affairs
