About the Position

Seeking an Inpatient Gastroenterologist for locum to perm coverage in Des Moines, IA . The physician will provide hospital-based adult care , perform ERCP procedures (EUS highly preferred) , manage inpatient consults , and perform 3–4 outpatient procedures daily . The provider will work in a collaborative hospital environment using Cerner EMR to deliver high-quality care to adult patients.

Shift Timings:

• 24-hour call coverage (7a–7a)
• Inpatient and outpatient procedures daily

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3 years of residency – [REQUIRED]
• Active IA License or IMLC – [REQUIRED]
• ACLS – [REQUIRED]
• ERCP – [REQUIRED]
• EUS – [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• COVID Vaccination – [REQUIRED]
• Clean Malpractice/Background – [REQUIRED]
• NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days) – [REQUIRED]
