Regional Account Manager, Toxicology - Northwestern & Midwestern US

Abbott Rapid Diagnostics seeks a Regional Account Manager for its Toxicology Business Unit to drive sales in the Northwestern and Midwestern US, covering government, criminal justice, and treatment markets. This remote, field-based role involves prospecting, account management, and contract negotiation with up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

Generate new sales opportunities through cold calling and lead generation activities
Conduct prospect and customer needs assessments to identify solutions
Prepare quotes, proposals, and coordinate contract execution with clients
Support new account onboarding and implementation across sales and operations teams
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to recommend product or service improvements

Requirements

Associate's degree minimum; Bachelor's degree preferred
7+ years sales or account management experience with proven hunter mindset
Demonstrated contract negotiation and management in senior sales roles
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Salesforce
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
Willingness to travel multi-state territory with overnight stays
Government sales, drug testing industry knowledge, or criminal justice/treatment market experience preferred

Compensation: $78,000–$156,000 base
