Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out regular maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Assist in collection of specimens and prepare samples for laboratory testing as necessary.
• Keep detailed records of all procedures, mentor newcomers, and contribute to the maintenance of laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following all regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an allied health degree combined with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one calendar year of hire.
• Maintain up-to-date certification throughout your employment.
