The right LPN should have 1 year of experience in a Clinic or Outpatient setting. Read below for more requirements.As an LPN in a clinic, you will provide nursing care and support to patients receiving outpatient services. You’ll work closely with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare staff to ensure efficient and compassionate care delivery.As an LPN, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and medical historiesAdminister medications and injections as ordered by providersAssist with minor clinical procedures and wound careProvide patient education on medications, treatments, and health maintenancePerform basic lab tests and collect specimens as requiredDocument nursing care and patient responses accurately in medical recordsCoordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and stockedCommunicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staffFollow infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulationsSupport patient scheduling and other administrative tasks as neededThe ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an LPN in a Clinic or Outpatient setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and be eligible for State licensure. Additional certifications may be required.LPNs in clinics should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.Requirements*: BLS, 1 Year * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
