Healthcare Organization:
\n A 155-bed, community-based teaching hospital and multi-specialty regional health system. As a private, not-for-profit organization, the regional health system is nationally recognized for quality, patient satisfaction, and physician engagement. The system features a state-of-the-art Medical Education Center, simulation labs, and a thriving physician group with medical student and resident involvement.

Opportunity: Full Time Anesthesiology

\n • Schedule: Monday through Friday; Start at 6:30am and have a rotate off schedule
\n as cases/rooms close
\n • Two anesthesiologists scheduled per shift
\n • Must be willing to perform solo cases with some opportunity to supervise CRNA’s
\n and AA’s
\n • Call: 1-in-8 call rotating on/off schedule Monday through Friday; no weekend call
\n required; home call is allowed.
\n • Expected Patient Volume: 40-50 cases per day; maximum of 10 operative sites
\n which includes 2 endoscopy suites and 2 obstetric rooms
\n • Technology: state-of-the-art medical equipment/technology ; All new anesthesia
\n Mindray machines, including new ultrasounds; Additionally, we have a Glideslope
\n for emergency airways and Belmont for rapid infusers.
\n Requirements:
\n • Completion or upcoming completion of Anesthesiology residency
\n • Required Certifications/Licensures: Board certified physician or board certification
\n eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years); Georgia Medical
\n License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
\n Cases:
\n • We do not perform cardiac or neurosurgery cases.
\n • Bread and Butter general anesthesia cases performed (nerve blocks, A-lines,
\n epidurals, etc.).
\n • 8-9 starts a day
\n • 700 cases a month (~200 of those are endoscopies)
\n • OB services (~800 deliveries a year)
\n • Lots of robotic cases; state-of-the-art medical equipment/technology (4 Da Vinci 5
\n Surgical Robots, the Mako Robot, C-arm, etc.

\n Compensation :
\n • Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; plus, an annual
\n 3% cost-of-living adjustment.
