Job Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse – Western North Carolina

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend; Shift ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4 depending on patient acuity

• Work in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU, the largest in the region, providing critical care to the most vulnerable patients
• Part of a 96-bed dedicated children's hospital within an 815-bed acute care regional referral center
• Electronic Medical Records system: Cerner
• Collaborative team environment with 18 RNs, charge nurse, respiratory therapists, and support staff per shift
• Opportunity to float to related units including Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother Baby
• Nationally recognized facility with awards from U.S. News & World Report, Truven Health Analytics, and Healthgrades

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina RN License or ability to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Stable and NIC-RNC certifications preferred
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong clinical skills
