Sr Analyst I Variable Sales Compensation

The Sr. Analyst for Variable Compensation will be a key member of the finance variable comp team helping to support incentive compensation commission and SPIFF payments through Anaplan. There will be frequent and regular communication with the Variable comp team members, sales leadership, as well as sales strategy teams. This role will report to the Manager, Variable Sales Compensation to develop and maintain variable comp payment and reporting, facilitate change, and process improvement as well as administer the team’s dashboards. Analyses performed by this role will influence variable comp strategy and design.

What you'll be doing:

• Administer accurate and timely commission and SPIFF payments while meeting SLAs and ensuring sales employees are paid correctly and on schedule.
• Manage incentive compensation plan administration through detailed analysis, issue resolution, and proactive stakeholder communication, delivering a high level of accuracy, process consistency, and customer service.
• Possess the unique ability to bridge the gap between sales teams and technology.
• Gain knowledge of the multitude of dashboards (variable compensation) and reporting utilized by the sales organization from both a business and technical perspective.
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis, investigating issues and providing explanations and interpretation.
• Assist in administering the team's reporting environment.
• Ensure Anaplan models adhere to standards and include appropriate security and audit controls.
• Develop and maintain documentation in support of project design, change control, and user testing.
• Be responsible for the development, automation, compilation, and preparation of reports under general supervision.
• Monitor, identify, investigate, prioritize, remediate, and communicate data quality issues.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions and provide thought leadership throughout the requirements-gathering process.
• Review use cases and conceive and execute proof-of-concept models.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

•3+ years of experience working with both finance and technical teams.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Ability to translate financial business processes into technical solutions.
• Experience with complex data modeling, particularly in finance or compensation-related environments.
• Strong data analysis and business acumen.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the Anaplan Connected Planning platform.
• Experience with business intelligence tools, including Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience working with Microsoft Access.
• Experience supporting sales compensation operations.

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation. ​
