As a Security Officer Retail in Saginaw, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this dynamic role, you will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, professionalism, and teamwork while reflecting our values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with store personnel, visitors, and local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or potential hazards to the appropriate contacts.
• Support loss prevention efforts by documenting incidents, assisting with de-escalation, and helping to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence and attentive observation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
