Job Title: Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab Profession: RN Specialty: RN - Catheterization Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse licensure required prior to hire date Certifications: BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire date Must-Have: Advanced Life Support preferred Description: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Catheterization Lab. Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. Prepare, implement, and document the plan of care. Communicate the patient's condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures. Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. Perform, set up, and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures. Multi-modality lab encompassing various procedures. Merge Cardio is the hemodynamic system used. Cerner is the electronic health record utilized. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
