Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Rapid Response)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating Weekends | 6-Week Assignment | Expected 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit supporting 1,000+ deliveries per month
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 in a 32-bed unit across night shift
• Perform and support procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
• Utilize unit equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
• Document and manage patient care using the Meditech EMR system
• Demonstrate SVE competency and C-section circulation experience as required for this role

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) competency required
• BLS certification required — must be included in submission packet
• ACLS certification required — must be included in submission packet
• NRP certification required — must be included in submission packet
• AWHONN certification required — must be included in submission packet
• Demonstrated SVE competency and C-section circulation experience
• No time-off requests or special scheduling accommodations can be accommodated during this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Internal monitor placement competency
• Experience in a Level IV or high-volume Labor & Delivery unit
• Previous experience in a similar healthcare system or travel assignment environment
