Compensation

Starting salary: $500,000 - $550,000. 55-60 RVUs per shift.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will interpret a wide range of imaging studies – X‑ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound – to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The role requires a highly trained professional who can work in a fast‑paced environment, deliver accurate results, and collaborate with referring physicians and other medical staff to ensure high‑quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret Diagnostic Imaging: Review and interpret various diagnostic imaging studies, ensuring accurate diagnosis and timely reporting.
• Collaborate with Physicians: Work closely with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss findings and provide guidance for treatment planning.
• Ensure Patient Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize patient exposure to radiation.
• Consultation and Follow‑Up: Provide consultation to referring physicians and support patient follow‑up as necessary.
• Stay Updated with Advances in Radiology: Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in radiology practices and imaging technologies.

Qualifications

• Education: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent.
• License: Active and unrestricted medical license in Illinois.
