Details Outpatient oncology infusion clinic setting for adult patients 4x10-hour day shifts per week, totaling 40 hours weekly Administers PO and SC injections, chemotherapy drugs, and other medications as ordered Initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products Assists physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures Provides phone triage and coordinates patient follow-up care Requirements Active RN License (Standard or Compact/eNLC) required Current BLS and ACLS certification from AHA ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate required Current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required Minimum 1 year of outpatient infusion and chemotherapy nursing experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Full DOB and SSN required for consideration Additional Information Delivers chemotherapy-related patient and family education Delegates tasks to support staff and collaborates with physicians and medical personnel Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and notes changes in physician orders Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Facility strictly enforces credentialing and onboarding deadlines with no push start dates allowed Returning workers limited to one extension up to 26 weeks total, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying 30-day written notice required for early cancellation or assignment end American Traveler Job ID P-739017.
