Staff Accountant I

Billing Processor We are hiring a Billing Processor to support accounting and billing operations for a leading organization. This is a 6-month contract role offering hands-on experience in payment application, disbursements, and financial reporting. The position is primarily onsite, with flexibility after the initial training period. Responsibilities Perform billing, disbursements, and payment application activities with a high level of accuracy Research and resolve check and payment discrepancies Prepare, analyze, and maintain accounting reports, statements, and records Conduct variance and trend analysis for key accounts and reports Maintain and analyze accounts and/or client records to ensure timely and accurate processing Respond professionally to internal and external email communications Manage and prioritize multiple tasks across systems and workflows Support documentation and improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and processes Ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable accounting and regulatory standards Required Qualifications Associate's degree 13 years of relevant experience Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in finance or accounting Experience working with accounting or processing systems Strong organizational skills and a collaborative team mindset Tools & Systems: Microsoft Excel Access Database Processing Systems Workflow Management Systems Why Join: Opportunity to contribute as a key member of the accounting team Exposure to structured accounting operations within a dynamic organization Professional growth through hands-on experience in billing and financial processes #J-18808-Ljbffr HireTalent
