About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of Software Engineering with a focus on marketing technology. The successful candidate will be a strategic and hands-on leader, responsible for the development, scalability, and innovation of the marketing technology ecosystem. This role involves close collaboration with marketing, product, and sales teams to deliver high-impact digital experiences, optimize lead generation, and maximize conversion performance. The VP will lead and scale engineering teams, contribute to system design and development, drive architecture and optimization of marketing technology systems, and oversee integrations across various platforms. A key aspect of the role is to champion data-driven decision-making, A/B testing, and performance optimization initiatives. Applicants for the VP of Software Engineering position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, including a background in modern web architecture, APIs, and scalable, cloud-based systems. Hands-on coding experience in Java, TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL is required, as is a proven track record of leading engineering teams in marketing technology or customer-facing platforms. The role demands expertise in data-driven engineering, analytics, and performance tracking, as well as a strong focus on engineering best practices. While not mandatory, experience in fintech, mortgage, or high-volume lead generation environments, and familiarity with martech ecosystems, is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, hands-on technical leader with a focus on results and a commitment to continuous improvement.
