This Tri Cities area along the Snake-Columbia river confluence is agricultural, with irrigated vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds, and livestock with an assortment of industrial and government-related activities mixed in. Richland, 6 miles downriver, plays a major role as commercial, research and administrative center for the vast Hanford Site, a U.S. Department of Energy nuclear waste and research facility. Richland also has the strongest health care facilities and the strongest base of high-paying jobs. Kennewick is more residential and retail-commercial and is the largest and most family-oriented of the three.

Overview

As non-clinical Medical Staff Director, you will work closely with the CEO and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to align relationships and organizational strategies with medical staff. This blended clinical-corporate position manages, directs and supports the medical facilities' operations and provides leadership and oversight to medical staff for peer-review and credentialing for multiple facility locations.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree program with a major or concentration in Business Administration from an accredited college or university. Training and experience can be substituted for formal education, depending on the nature and duration.
• 5-7 years of professional staff management experience, evidencing strong supervisory skills and organizational expertise, including management and development of multiple staff members performing jobs of varying responsibility and level.
• A foundational understanding of the theory and practices of healthcare;
• Familiarity with advancements in information privacy strategies and technologies to assure practice adaptation and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills, with knowledge of statistics, data collection, and outcome measurements.
• Excellent presentation skills, capable of interpreting and presenting data in complex documents, including tables, charts, graphs and other elements.
• Strong foundational skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) system is preferred.
